YOUTH CONFIRMATION
What is Confirmation?
Confirmation is a two-year instruction program for students in seventh and eighth grade who wish to become "confirmed members" of Trinity Lutheran Church.
After completing this instruction, the students will have a very good understanding of the Old and New Testaments as well as a solid foundation of biblical truth concerning what it means to be a Christian and how to live out their faith in the real world. Today, especially, it's important that young people know what they believe and why they believe it. As they begin to make more important decisions in life they will have God's Word that has been "planted in their hearts" to help them. They are then given the opportunity to publically "confirm" their personal faith in Christ and desire to follow him.
When?
Confirmation is held every Monday afternoon (except for holidays and vacations) during the 2009-2010 school year.
The Junior Confirmation Class (7th Grade) will meet at 4:20 p.m. - 5:10 p.m.
The Senior Confirmation Class (8th Grade) will meet at 3:30 p.m. - 4:20 p.m.
